Rossella Candy, production and sale of candies.
In 1897 Santo Rossello, recovering from ancient confectionery texts the recipe of the Fondant, started the production of superfine bonbons identical to the ones that Rossella is still producing to this day. So arose, in the golden age of the 1800s, a product that is refined and of supreme quality, which without doubt defines the best of the Fondants, the "Fondant's '800". The small firm, born in Ellera, in Savona province, after starting locally, it moved the activity to its origin in Genova, where the product was quickly appreciated and the production started to grow.
Years passed and the production expanded, following the fame of quality and taste with no competitors in the first years of the last century. Generations passed and the founder Santo Rossello gave way to his grandchild who then, after many years of activity and not having any heir, left the brand, the recipes and the establishment to the Pallavicini family, the current owner of Rossella. |
